Kenny, So proud of you to bring Mardi Gras to Lagrange, G eorgia!!! ... I know that You had to jump thru "hoops" to bring this to fruition!! I hope that- one year- maybe me,, Sybil (wife) can come up there to partake in your parade!!! As of 2016, the west Bank only has TWO PARADES: Krewe of Adonis, & Krewe of Nomtoc !!! Of course we have the Truck Parades on Mardi Gras Day!!! .... All of the other Krewes that paraded on the west Bank (Cleopatra, Choctaw, etc..., migrated to the East Bank of Jefferson Parish!! Hence, there was :friction" between Jefferson & Orleans Parishes 9on the West Bank)!! ...Hope Your Family is doing well!! Please, Keep in touch! Love to All, "Joey" Leave a Reply. |
