Kenneth Gordon Jan 29, 2017 It doesn't look like much of a difference, but this skeleton of a float is just one of four. It's our title float, under construction at the secret den of the Krewe of Mask.
The morning was cold, so counting and sorting doubloons along with working on the Royal float indoors was a good strategy for Phillip, Goose and me. Cheryl Gordon later made coffee and worked to build floats. We did more outside in the afternoon.
Laura Ghosti Gordon and Michelle Dawn Gordon are doing scroll work for the sides of the Royal Float. I tried to inflate a weather balloon and only reached two feet. Tomorrow, it will be three.
Mayor John added to the safety of our floats, fastening by fastening, 2x4 by 2x4.
In all, about ten people contributed to the suscess and enjoyment of today's accomplishments. Tomorrow, we start again around 10 AM.
